Cathédrale Notre Dame, Chartres

08.10.2007 Chartres, France
The 13th-century cathedral was built in Gothic style after its Romanesque predecessor was destroyed by fire in 1194. See the Clocher Neuf (new bell tower) on the left in Gothic style, and the Clocher Vieux (old bell tower) on the right in Romanesque style.
